I just had a S. B. dual disk installed in my truck today and when I picked it up the installer said I'm not going to like it, so he knows it has trouble. 1st it won't go into reverse without turning off the truck. 2nd it won't hardly go into 2nd once your at a stop without playing with it,and pulling hard on the stick. 3rd it shifts very hard its almost better to not use the clutch if your moving. 4th and last thing is the pedal has to be all the way to the floor to shift and does not seem to move as far as it use to. Please Help I will be calling Peter at S. B in the moring. One more thing my installer who was refered to me by a friend tried to get a hold of S. B. and had to leave a message was not sure if the buttons on the 2 disks had to be lined up or off-set, but never got a call back put it in with them off-set. Sorry for the long post.

I would guess he put the disc's in the wrong way. Or the hydrolics took a dump. Deffinately call Peter A. S. A. P

Good Luck

Craig

dual disk

I just got my truck going with the SB SDD clutch. It seems to work great for me. My clutch releases 3/4 near the top of the travel.

I would pull the slave cylinde out of the bell housing and push the rod in and out slowly several times. It should move smoothly in and out. If there is any trapped air in the cylinder it may remove it.

Good luck

Malcolm
