Attention: TDR Forum Junkies while attempting to change my brothers fuel filter i have encountered a few problems.
instead of just the filter coming off, the entire assembly came off including a plastic piece approximately the same diameter as the filter. the question is how does this piece go back on, with the metal side up or down. also is there a gasket or something between this piece and the bolt (for lack of a better word) that screws it into the fuel filter hanger. if someone could tell me how to post pictures i could snap a few and that would be easier to see what i was talking aobut.
