I traded my 2000 F-250 Super Duty 4X4 PSd in last October on a 2005 Ram 2500 Club Cab 4X4 with the Cummins. My prblem is the hitch was set in the lowest holes on my Ford for my Travel Trailer. The Dodge sits 2-3 inches taller in the rear and does not sqwat with the trailer hooked up. I have a 30ft SunnyBrook Travel Trailer. What are my options? Can I get a shank with more drop? My current shank measures 5. 5 inches if I measure from the bottom of the verticle piece with the holes to the bottom edge of the horizontal piece that goes into the receiver. How much drop is safe before you are putting to much leverage on the receiver and frame of the truck?
