I just tried installing an interior theft sensor, looks pretty easy to splice the wires behind the speedometer, however the wires on my 05 are not the same as what is shown in the intructions that came with the sensor. Intructions show on the white connector that I should have a black and red wire and a pink. I don't have either. It shows on the gray connector that I should have a tan wire. Does any one have any info on this?

I did this on my 04 last year and my wiring was all wrong too. The instructions that came with mine were for an 03 and believe it or not the 03s and 04s have lots of differences in wiring. I had to manually check each wire for the function they were looking for and in a few cases it was even on the other connector. I think you can forget about wire color codes completely.

I never was happy with the device after install. I got lots of false alarms and when I de-tuned it the sensitivity was too low to even do anything. It's still in my truck though but I might upgrade it at some point.

I have found 12v constant power but I couldn't find 12v in the run position. I figured from the instructions that although the wire colors are different the wires in the exact same spots would have the same function, but they don't seem to. The 12v constant seems to be the only one. And it's red instead of pink.
