Need help with Jordan 2020

I will be installing my Jordan Ultima 2020 this weekend. After reading the instructions, it says to run the wires directly to the battery with an auto reset circuit breaker in the positive wire. My truck has the trailer wiring connection under the dash. Can I just use the pig-tail that came with it and plug into the existing wires or is it necessary to run the wires directly to the battery?

Yes, but watch the wire colors. They don't match. Connect by wire function, not color. You'll love it.

Jordan's instructions say if white ground wire is not connected directly to neg battery post, operation may be erratic. Don't know about the positive side. I connected both directly to the battery as per the instruction sheet.

I'D go direct to the battery. The factory wiring wasn't beefy enough for me.

I wired my Jordan using the Dodge pigtail. No problems to date.
