2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Need help with tailgate decal location

I have my 2002 2500 Quad Cab short bed truck painted and I want to install the "Dodge / 4 x 4" decals on the back. I didn't measure the location before I dropped it off and the shop didn't either. I'm looking for the measurement from the center of the tailgate "Crease" that is about 6" from the top of the tailgate to the top of where the "Dodge" decal is located (I think it is somewhere around 1-1/4"). Also the distance from the edge of the tailgate to the start of the ?Dodge" decal, I'm guessing about 2.5". Any help would be appreciated

Just got done measuring mine. I measured 12.5 inches from the bottom of the tailgate to the bottom of the decal, 2 5/16 inches from the side of the tailgate to the side of the decal where the line crossing the stem of the 4 stops. It was 2 9/16 from the side of the tailgate to the stem the of the 4. Hope this helps you narrow it to as close as possible for the correct location. Maybe some others will measure theirs and post there results as there might be some slight variance as to how each decal is positioned between trucks.

Would measurements from my 1500 help? Not sure that they would be any different from gas to diesel, a tailgate is a tailgate, maybe extra badging. Mine has the trim on it, so this could help with placement measurements. It could at least give comparison on trucks.

Okay, here's what I got off my 1500.

The Dodge decal; 2 11/32" in from edge of gate and 3 24/32" up from trim panel (found mine goes uphill from left to right?). The 4x4 decal; in to closest point on the 4 is 2 5/32" and 3 21/32" up from trim panel to closest point of the 4.

Hope that this will help in getting the decals close to where they were from the factory. Measurement was done with a steel rule and almost 60 yr old eyes!
