I just spent 8 hours driving 300 miles,we left thursday for a trip pulling a approximitly 7-8k trailer, we hit the first hill, almost to the top(pulling around 36# of boost) POOSSHH. I pulled over cleaned my shorts out and opened the hood to find the short piece of hose of the bottom of the turbo had blown past the clamp. I loosened the clamp and reinstalled. From that point on every time it boost past 25-28# POOSSHH. On the way home I just kept the boost down(very hard to do pulling a trailer).

I have never seen a thread on this topic, Has anyone experienced this problem? Should I call the dealer? Is there a better clamp to use?

I did pound on it after I unhooked the trailer and it held ok, the boost only got to about 28# (seems like it is usually 32#)but I was only in 4th gear, I will go do some testing on the way to work.

I hope someone can help, thanks in advance for any advice.

I have tried every term I can think of on the search and no matches found. Sorry I can never get the search to work. Why are there red words in my post?

Red words.......

The red words are the key words you typed in for the search. It highlights them for you.

As fas as your hose. Check to see if oil got on the hose end? Oil change recently? If it is contaminated you can try to clean the inside of the hose with a degreaser and also the end it connects too. Then reclamp it and see if it holds.

Just my 2¢ worth.

I thought I remember reading that some fixed it simply by cleaning both the hoses and fittings the hoses went to. And by making sure that the clamps were at least an inch onto the hose, not soo close to the end of the hose.

The reason you see some words in red, is that they matched a search you did within the threads for those words... .

I did some searches for threads in the last 6 months in the 24V forum... here they are...

If you don't find a particular answer, you can always email one of the members that had the problem and ask how they're doing with the problem and how they fixed it.

I emailed those jamooks (via their contact page) at breeze clamps and they never returned my email.

I didn't see it in your signature, so I'll ask. Are you running a K&N? If so, it is probably the K&N oil. It will have to be thoroughly cleaned off if it is. That will cause the hoses to blow off.
