Another turbo question-KSB or?

I may be doing this backwards but i want to convert from a 97 4x4 auto to 04 6spd and i think i have the transmission sold before i have all of my ducks in a row on how to do the swap.

i have a line on a 2004 6spd... . questions

1. will this bolt right up to a 97 12v that was equiped with an auto

2. will the transfer case bolt up (remember it was mated to an auto) i think one has 23 teeth and the other 29.

anyother info will help!

It would stand to reason that you'd need a new (or at least different) flywheel adaptor, and possibly starter, along with the flywheel and clutch. You will also have to get different corss members for hte 6spd. Cant help you out on the t-case; my 205 had 29 splines, but that was in a 1st Gen.

And no, I dont think you are going backwards- I'd give $1000 more for the same pickup with a manual 5, 6, or 7 gears. I looked into doing the conversion 4 years ago with the 92 that is now Mom's, and had I had a shop and the knowledge that I now possess, I'd have done it. But you cant rewrite the past; God knows I would if I could.

Just curious, I don't need to know how much you're selling your auto for, but don't just give it away for lunch and a song! If you were to shop around for one, you would know that they aren't cheap. Make sure you get for it what it's worth. Just a helpful suggestion. If you already know this, then ignore me :)

My friend was selling one, and someone said, "I'll give you $500 for it. " My friend said, "yeah, I know you would. "

They're worth lots more. A lot of us here talk crap about them, but you don't need to talk that way about them when you're trying to sell one:)
