NEED HELP!!!!!!

I think i screwed up my gauge cluster!!!!. i was reading that if you pull the gauge out you can open it up and see what kind of lights you have and change them out to different colors. I wanted to try this so i started opening everything up after pulling gauge cluster. I quickly
realized that i was in over my head. I put everything back together the way I had thought it came out and now when i turn truck over everything works EXCEPT the battery gauge and the fuel level gauge. I know i have about 3/4 and my batt gauge sits about 13v.

Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!!

It would be difficult to explain how to put it together. First, what did you take apart? Did you just remove the cluster, flip it over and remove the bulbs or did you remove the circuit board? Have you checked for YouTube videos that might show taking the cluster apart? There are a few really good ones for the 3rd Gen trucks but not sure about your 2012.

I pulled the clear front cover off, then flipped over and removed back black cover and started to pull the circuit board off but slowly working from 1 side to the other and then before i realized it 3 needles had popped off... MPH, engine temp and oil pressure. I pushed them back on until they
clicked in place, put whole unit back to together connected back to truck and tested. everything worked but Batt and fuel. So i took the clear cover back off made sure all pins were pushed in and tested again and still nothing.

I just read about some cluster test you can do for the 98-02 but im not sure if that will work or not. right now i have the batteries disconnected in hopes of resetting everything.
