Be prepared to pay throught the nose... . I just bought outside dover area and 1 acre is going for 34,000. You can get down around 25-28,000 if you buy 10 acres or more.

I bought one already in Pemberton Creek in Seffner for 65. I just thought if I found one with a house on it I wouldn't have to get in a hurry to build. How do you like the area? we looked basically everywhere , Sorrento area was the nicest but to far from Tampa.

Dunno! I haven't even managed to move over there yet. I'm still in Mulberry/Lakeland area. We like Brandon and the wife works in tampa so we decided to move a little closer for her but farther for me. Oh well, at least Uncle sam pays me for my mileage... so to speak. Our closest neighbors seem nice but one lets his pitbull mutt run wild and that irritates me but the dog is nice so its hard to get too ******. We are in the middle of an ex-orange grove and that makes the wife happy. We have about 40 or so orange trees. Just ahd the septic installed today, an interesting process to say the least.

I had no idea there were so many TDR people so close to me. I do have 2 neighbors (brothers) hookemupman and busyman that live close but I am really suprised how many people there are on this site that live so close.



I live in Parrish FL and the land prices are through the roof. A shack on a postage stamp lot starts at $75,000. Single acre lots are $30,000 and up. I even saw a two acre lot go for $150,000 not too long ago.
