Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Need info on 12 valve torque plate mods

Iv found some info online and by word of mouth on the process of modifying my fuel pump torque plate. I am really just looking for some specific info on what it takes to grind down the plate and how much. (Its my daily driver) and I dont want to scew it up. Links or pics would be great. Thanx guys

I used a Dremel at slow speed. Wanted to keep from getting it too hot. I used a rough stone wheel first, then a fine one, then emery paper. I cut a "100ish". Ramp on the top to slow fueling. The bottom is flush with the original top.

HTormey, one thing you could do is try to locate a spare stock plate, then grind on that. If things don't work out, you can always throw your original back in.
