O. K. like the title says, I'am going in on Saturday to have a code P0148 looked at. I was wondering if there are any more features the dealer can enable besides these I'am listing?

- TIPM Trailer light circuit amperage increase.
- Accessory Delay.
- High Idle using cruise control.
- Daytime running lights
- Foglights stay on with highbeams.

I understand these are under "Vehicle Preparation" menu of the Starscan too. Is this also correct?

Thanks for any help.

I thought the foglights staying on w/ the headlights not available... I've never seen that one. I know there was a debate going on here a while back...

Fog lights on with high beams is not legal in at least some states. Daytime running lights not available on some. did the code come up after the Juice?

Have not received the Juice in the mail yet. The code came up when I was towing in
-21*. I think the fuel was gelling and that is what caused the code. The trucks check engine light came on and then defueled real bad for about 4 - 5 miles and then everything slowly worked fine again. Then about 200 miles later defueled again and when I stopped and put more anti-gel in the truck ran fine.

Two weeks and 900 miles later the check engine light is still on so I figured I better get it checked before the Edge Juice/Attitude gets here.

What is involved with the "- TIPM Trailer light circuit amperage increase. " ? Is it something that is just turned on? What does this protect by having it turned on?

Thanks

The term I just made up because I don't know the correct terminology. On the 06's DC took away some of the fuses and integraded something like a tripable relay that has to be reenabled by the dealer or something like that. TIPM stand for Totally Integraded Power Module.

The flash the Dealer does just increases amperage that it trips out at. Some trailers require more current than the standard amperage DC put in from the factory.
