Need info on CIPA Mirrors

I am getting ready to buy a set of new towing mirrors for my 01 3500 Dodge and would like to hear if anyone has had problems with them? Also I am looking for a source to purchase them from other than Geno's garage and does anyone have a better price the $369 for heated and power CIPA mirrors ? Another question is can you ad turn signal lights to the like the f**ds ?

Those mirrors are also sold under the name Bestop. I got mine at summit racing last summer for considerably less then that. There is a picture of mine in the readers rigs section under Vic's 99 if you want to make sure those are what you are talking about.



No problems with them at all so far, although some have reported problems with vibration. Summit has a really liberal return policy if you do have trouble.

That's where I bought mine. Have a minor vibration with the one on the passenger side. Not really any worse than the factory electric mirrors. Doesn't bother me any. I have them extended out all the time since I have a dually. Been real happy with them so far.



One weird thing with them, is that they don't fold back, only forward. Hasen't been a problem yet.

I got mine at Summit also. I'd suggest calling them before you order from anybody else.

When I got them, I was amazed at the size. But, after they were installed, they looked about right. The view is great, they don't block your vision as much as the stockers, and installation was easy. I added one of those round mirrors on the passenger side because there is a blind spot there.

i was one of the first on the TDR to get them... ..... LOVE 'EM!!!

have had NO problems with them at all. mine came with convex mirrors for the corners on BOTH mirrors. still have the stockers in storage and i can't believe the size difference... how i ever drove with something THAT small.

I've had my mirrors for 2 years no problems. They came with convex stick ons. I got them from www.acmetruckparts.com. I paid $329. 00 plus shipping but that was 2yrs ago.



I just went to their site & they are still $329. 00 the part #73027-302 I don't know about the turn signals being added to them. I personally would'nt like something blinking in my mirrors.

I got mine from a company I now hate so I won't mention them. Mine also vibrate... . I'm happy with them... I just can't tell if that crown vic next to me has a light bar or not.
