Need info on differences between 4.10 and3.73

heres the question. What are the mpg differences between the 4. 10 and the 3. 73 gears. Are there any and is it major. The truck I found and like has an auto and the 4. 10 gears but I want a little feedback from you guys before the big purchase.

I you are towing with the automatic, 4. 10 is the better choice it is less stressful on trans.

otherwise for manual box go 3. 73

I had 4. 10's on my 2001. 5 HO 6 speed. It got better milage than my 04. 5 with 3. 73's. I agree, if you are towing with an auto, get the 4. 10's.
