Need info on Gateglide(Geno's)

I am thinking about getting the Gateglide but I am not sure how far that tube extends into the bed. I have side tool boxes mounted in the front over the wheel wells. How far up the bed does this tube go and is it mounted under the rail or along side the rail. Anyone have a picture? Thanks for your help
