Does anyone know where a vacuum pump diaframe can be purchased at a reasonable price? The dealer needs $375 each. Too steep for my wallet. Or, can a leaking one be repaired? After installing new gasket and O rings in the vacuum pump assembly twice, it still leaks. I think I did it right, following the Dodge manual. Would appreciate any info or your experience. Thanks,

Larry, I just replaced my vac pump <still working> And my toasted P/S unit due to The 215 eng. swap. read my UPdate on 215 motor post. I elected to replace the pump as it was connected to the unit. And it had several hundred thousand miles on it. I could cut you one sweet deal on the whole Vac pump if you have an interest. Regards, Mike

Mike, Thanks for the reply. Apology for not anstering earlier. My phone was out for 3 plus weeks, then I had to contact the webmaster to find out how to reply.
I'm interested in your pump but is it the kind with two vacuum diaframs on it or is it the rotary vane type? I think the '92s came with the vane type which take some throttle bracketry to install on the '89s. I would need the bracketery also but so would you. Let me know or I'll get the p/n of the one that fits. I'm interested. Thanks again for your reply. Larry
