I generally tow a landscape trailer 9-10 months a year(5,000lbs) need a set of injectors that will give me decent hp but keep EGT,s under control. thanks in advance

I have the Bully Dog stage 3s and they require a bigger turbo, I would go with something like the Bosch 275s or maybe even a set of stage 2s would keep the EGTs inline

Formula 1 better known as Don's "Mach" injectors are the best ones out there, they're not cheap by any means, but they work great! I would put either 1. 5's, 1. 6's or 2's. Smooth idle, better mileage, great power, what more do you want?? And get a 4" pipe.

I'd go with the Mach 1. 6s from Don M (F1 Diesel). I ran them for several months. A 4" exhaust may not even be necessary with these. They are a 90HP injector.

Got Jammer Stage 2's from City Diesel. Lowered my EGTs and they deliver smooth, clean power.

Don M's are the best (according to those who have them :D ) but plan to spend more than double of what the Jammers run.

Bosio tips are the bargain way to get top quality injectors but they only have a mild up grade available. Without further modifications to keep egt's down it's probably best to stay below stage 2 injectors.

Jammer 1's work pretty well. A little more power than 275's with no increase in egt. Good mileage also. I probably have a used set of 1's laying around if interested.

Thanks to all that chimed in. I forgot to add a few things to my sig. seem to add things then forget that there on. just remembered another thing to add thanks again

My DDII's (Banks for boost fooling only, no fueling) with 30lbs of boost seem to be the perfect towing combo for me. EGT;s have never been over 1200F with my intake/exhaust setup. They don't smoke too much and get the same mileage as stock. If I had to do it all over again I'd probably go with DDIII"s.

Before I had DD3 Jammers and they were awesome. With the box turned up the EGT's were kind of hot for towing. I have a set of JR Adkins Stage 4's and they are awesome. It's acually a quieter idle (for some reason it doesn't have that "24v rattle" to it) and really smooth performance. Those are just my expierances. I know Don M makes a real excelent injector as well. Have fun!

Mach 1. 6 with that catcher is a nice tow set-up!

I agree. I had that setup and overall and especially the low end take off power is incredible. My Catcher is being reflashed to be less aggressive. (Getting on the throttle too quickly created too much smoke for the wife. ) But if you gently rolled on the throttle, smoke would be minimal, and acceleration phenomenal.

True, that set-up is awesome for towing, thought the trailer fell off!! And yes it will smoke like a forest fire if you stand on it too fast. Roll it on easy and it's fine. No smoke at all on the freeway. :D
