Hey everyone,

Looking for input and answers.

Does anyone know if the 2wd trucks changed from IFS to link and coil? If so when? My sig is a 2012 IFS 2WD

An old friend bought a 2015 2wd Cummins g56 2500 and he is in a 4*4 frame setup with gear box and all but no transfer case and the dealer sheet shows the correct to be a 2wd.

2013 for 3500 and 2014 for 2500.

Same basic setup as 4x4, so you should be able to use their lifts. The 2wd should sit lower thou, so the lift will likely be more than advertised.

Never hurts to call a lift company.

Thanks man. I'm thinking fine of trading in my mild built 2012 for a newer 6.7 but can't decide on 2wd or 4*4. I do alot of all highway driving with little or no dirt road. And by dirt road I mean pressed dirt farm road.

I’d never own a 2wd. Even if I never needed 4wd the 2wd trucks have minimal resale around here, thou this isn’t S Texas.
