Howdy, I'm gonna get me some guages in the next coupla months

and then I want some more power (moderate is the key word here) But I need some info please, From what I have been reading, I thimk mine has bigger injector size (not hp) is 9mm

sound right? I thimk that is what I read. How far can I turn up my pump without causing undue wear?

Thanks, Steve

You didn't say if your a early 91 or a late 91. That will play a big part in what you do. go to "fritz's" ram tech page [links] and all the pump tips are there. I would move the timing up a bit to help burn the extra fuel and go with some larger injectors. Note my signature to see what I have sone so far. And I'm not done yet.

You might find "Bushwakr's" signature and look at what he has done too.

have fun

If you're not intercooled, intercooler.

If you have the large diameter injectors, then just crank the pump. The big injectors actually have much bigger flow than the later ones. But the pump is set WAY back to keep the HP where it is. If you don't actually have the large diameter nozzle injectors, then you'll want the PW's (mild, little smoke) or the POD's (a little more wild, mosquito control).

You'll want to advance the timing a bit, open up your exhaust, perhaps even a 4 incher (RipRook has one, and I've seen him install it on a 4x4) and go for a 12 or 14 exhaust housing, depending on what sort of power level you want. If you're thinking mild, do the 12. The responsiveness is startling by comparison. Well, not to mention how totally cool it sounds with a straight pipe :D

What can I say that hasn't been said already? :)
