I need more air i can get my egts to about 1600 i cant ever tell cause at that time its hard to watch were im driving and the gauge. I have stock turbo over a s400 i need some suggestions????

Depending on which version of the s400 you got they run hot. I like my ht3b with 26 housing. A little slow on the spool but great for towing and keepin cool. The only time I felt the 3b was insufficient was at 1800* when I was testing a big vp44. You could try drilling the wastegate on your stock turbo or getting a housing from pdr which has a 1 inch flapper. Put a hx40 compressor wheel on would help some too. Stay away from water as long as you can.

if you have a S400 on the bottom, i would reccomend looking into putting a 62/14 S300 varitey turbo on top, or even a 64/14, those turbo move alot of air, and are very efficient with a S400 under them, that type of twin kit, seems to be pretty popular theese days, while the tried and true HX35 over a ht3b is still a great setup for towing, the S300/S400 combo moves a bit more air, more efficiently, IMHO.

Try it and let us know how it works. It definitly won't run hotter than what you have now. The s300 is a very good turbo... if you've got the money.
