1st off I have done the search thing and could not find an exact answer. lots of info but nothing conclusive.
So ,I have a 99 24valve w/5spd. with the following HP mods
- Edge comp.
- RV275's
- southbend con O clutch
Heres the question(s).
I have been bitten by the HP bug and want to sell my 275s and go w/ the mach 4's.
1. )Will this be to much hp for my con O. it says its rated for 400hp/1000tq. but is that measured at the crank or rear wheels ??
2. )I have the stock tubo, is this going to be an issue. . I do not tow anything.
I dynoed my truck stock and it was 198, with the box on 5X5 it was 330. I have since added the 275s but want more hp. I know I will be over the rated hp max for the con O but as mentioned before I never tow. Im thinking that as long as I dont hammer on it from a dead stop i should be ok ??
Thanks Tom
