Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Need More Power

I know someone out there can help me ?

I am looking for a GOOD SHOP to do some Tweaking on my Cummins.



I would like to have the plate slid forward and the timing advanced,just to get that extra edge for towing my trailer and hauling my 9. 5 ft camper .

The only place i have used for any kind of work on my truck is the Cummins Dealer in MT Clemens,Mi. and they won't touch that kind of work.

Ask them Meaning your cummins shop WHY they wont touch that work and listen close to there reply. And beware of shops that can talk the talk I was a victom and had to replace my engine. There are specs for our engines and if you want them to last then you should adhere to the specs or expect premature failure. My best advice sir is buy the tools or borrow or rent the tools and read how to do the work yourself. You may want to ask around for a good pump shop in your area. Or I am sure you will get other advice here. Or enjoy your truck as it is. Good luck and research before you leap.
