Alright guys i need help which muffler should i put on my 05 quad cab short bed. I think i have it narrowed down to monster, magnaflow, and possibly siverline. I don't want mbrp or some really expensive muffler. The place i'm going has a few laying around cause everyone does the straight pipe set ups so. So if you guys have other reccomendations let me know. I'm all ears. I still want a good moderately loud sound. I'm not looking for quiet but i'm not looking for really loud. Its straight piped now but new laws in colorado require me to quiet it up. What do you guys suggest.

Give me a day or so and I'll tell you what the banks sounds like after being straight piped for a year or so.

The guy doing my airbags with dual control had a 4in/4out banks muffler laying in his shop, and I told him to slap that on while he was at it.

I just have a Magnaflow cut in to the stock system. Still have the cat. The sound is very deep. It's not too loud while driving normally. You do start to hear it when you step on it though. The sound reminds me of a wet exhaust on a boat with a diesel engine (is you have ever heard one). Good luck with your choice.

I love my aero turbine

I wanted straight pipe flow without all the sound and the aero fits me perfect, probably the loudest muffler out there but knocks down the volume just enough so my neighbors don't string me up. Don't know if it'll fit your price reqs. at 250 bones but to me it was well worth it. Can't recc. it enough. Jim

I know you said you dont want an MBRP but I just wanted to let you know that I put one on my 05 SB and the sound isnt much louder than stock on the road.

Sounds "grunty" starting off but quiets down.
