I purchased a 9800 Lb 5th wheel and I need for the torque converter to stay locked when overdrive is off. If i press the go pedal about 2/3 way down the converter unlocks.

I did just what the instructions said on the TST site. Ran the jumper on the relay and added a switch to b11 wire to ground. The transmission acts just like stock even with the relay pulled.

The only thing that does happen is my "wait to start" light comes on when I flip the switch.

Also the TST site says 04/96 and back might not work. Good advise always needed.

TIA Tim

Well the instructions from the TST website don't distinguish which wire (on mine there are three b/o) to cut. make sure the the switch is wired correctly, check the TST instructions on how to wire the switch, are you using a on-off-on or a on-off? the wire needs to be in place of the relay, and the PCM needs to be plugged in. I have spliced one of the wires and got that light to come on and also one does the trans temp light, I would suggest probing each one and testing them before cutting and splicing...

i just did my mystery switch and had some problems as well, mine was just that i ran a hot to the switch when i didnt need to. your problem is that you tapped in to the wrong orange and black wire, both the wts and torque converter lockup wires are orange and black... try again!

Thanks for the quick reply's.

I did tap onto the wrong orange/black wire. It works as it should now except I need to slack off the kickdown cable. It jumps down to second when 7/8's down on the go pedal. Much better than it was.
