On the drivers side inner fender of my 92 is a bracket and some kind of module. It is mounted near the cowl and has what I assume is a vacuum hose that goes to the brake booster and is connected to other hoses there. The nipple that the hose connects to on this module broke on my truck, and I am trying to find out what it is called so I can find a replacement.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is the low vacuum sensor. I broke the nipple off it on my 91 (accidentally, of course), and I think I just unplugged it to make the light go off.

Not if the vacuum was there. I think you'll know when you dont have enough vacuum  I'd plug the end of the hose, or cap off the end of it at the check valve.

You gonna make it to SOP this year?

DP

Thanks Daniel.

It has plenty of vacuum as I plugged the end of the hose.

At the present time I am planning on being at SOP. I can't get there until Sat. morning though. I am really looking forward to it.
