need new grille

so in the process of cleaning up the 06 got a little close with the pressure washer and blew a big hunk of chrome paint off the grille. long story short the black plastic in the middle of the grille was broke anyway so i need a whole new one. does anyone know of a good online supplier of a reasonable priced replacement. best i found was $ 258 for the whole thing. thanks in advance.

(i assume all grilles are the same regardless of trim package)

Try eBay. I bought one for my 06. It involves taking out the whole grille, cutting out the crosshairs and insrting the new one. It is a billet grille, horizontal bars. Sure cleans up the front end and gets a lot of positive comments. I'll try to find a pic.

No, not correct. The Laramie models and for some reason, my '08 SLT cab and chassis came with the upgraded grille with horizontal chrome bars. It looks a little nicer than the basic grille on ST models but the price is higher.

Some aftermarket retailers that specialize in trick truck parts carry them. Don't know if they are the same quality as OEM MOPAR.

looks like the best deal is gonna be on ebay. i always forget about ebay thanks for the reminder. hbarlow thank you as well. assuming the upgraded version fits the same i may have to look into that.

so thanks to harvey bringing it to my attetion i purchased an oem chrome grille from rockauto. i am very pleased with the new look.
