My 98. 5 24valve needs a radiator, are there any performance radiators out there for cummins powered trucks? I am thinking about getting the dual fan replacement for the clutch fan as well. Any help would be awesome, as I haven't found anything searching on the net yet!

seached a while but got an all aluminum(welded tanks) online I'll find the source if interested was around $200? fits & works good wont rot like stock and MUCH lighter.

Yeah, I am definately interested! Is it a drop-in replacement? I plan on keeping my truck for a long time, so I am replacing everything with the best stuff I can find.

Drop in? YES ! I'm way too lazy to fab a rad swap these days ! :-laf

company is : performance Radiator

couldn't find the distributor though, if i come across it I'll post.

It says the tank construction is plastic, is that ok? Forgive me if I am asking a dumb question, but I thought that the coolant get pretty hot, maybe hot enought to melt plastic if you overheat your engine?? Looks a heck of a lot better than paying $550 CAN at the dealer for a stock one!!

Hmmm... ... odd. The domain registration is still valid, and traceroutes succeed to the server. I don't think that it's as simple as the server being down.

copper rads are black and WILL rot out again. also very heavy and not as efficiant as aluminum at heat dissapation. plastic tanks will hold to 800 degrees, dont think your motor will.

Try your local friendly NAPA store - - A friend bought a repacement for his '98 and the only problem was getting the lower rediator hose off - - direct fit and came raw aluminum - - - runs cooler w/o black paint

yeah that bottom radiator hose was a problem, after fighting with it for almost an hour I finally cut it off and was down an extra day and went to a dealer to get a new one.
