I don't use Tow Haul all of the time and the only time I have had any shuddering, is going through a residential area....and it only happens once in a great while and when it does, it only does it for second or two. Much ado about nothing.

YOU understand how it works and choose to run the way you do and that's fine. It's the people that complain about how their trans performs are the ones that don't get it!
 
I drove a 2014 2500 68rfe at the empty weight of 10K not including driver @ 30K miles with 3:42. T/H caused a lot of dead pedal issues in bumper to pumps traffic, also it would clunk a lot.

To each his own, I know if I buy a new one, which I doubt, it’ll have 4:10’s or a higher ratio, depending on the truck.

You sure have had a lot of oddball problems that you attribute to 3.42's......that nobody else seems to be having.
 
Also lost the entire rear diff under warranty at 14K. I doubt the 3:42 was the fault, but it was one of many issues with the truck. Enjoy your 3:42’s, it’s not my truck.
