You got a good deal on that oil!

Wal-Mart recently cleared their stock of the old Delo for $6 a gallon. I went to the three stores that are within 10 miles of my house and bought them out, 29 gallons in all. :D I also keep an eye out at the Flying J's. A while ago they had a buy one, get one free deal on Valvoline. I bought 10 cases, wish now I had bought 30.

What was the clearance for? Was the 58 million year expiration date almost up? ;) :D

I would have jumped on that, too, and it isn't even my brand.

Just went out and looked. It is Mobil Delvac, not delo. I was thinking it wasn't CJ but it is, so don't know why they cleared their stock. My brand now days is whatever brand costs less. After the oil tests in the magazine I pretty much decided that brand loyalty was just costing me money.

Driftwood Ram, that is the exact part I used with the new plug, and it leaked. Gonna put the old plug back in today as it never leaked.

update

Installed a new plug with a little RTV around the inner shoulder, on top of the gasket, torqued to 40 lbs and it hasn't leaked in 5 days. Success?
