Group Buy on Turbo's(Better Than a hx40)

Where, besides the dodge dealer can you get a oil pressure sending unit? wholesale price @ dealer was, ARE you ready for this?-$168. 00. They gotta be out of the Freaking minds! :--)

Don't forget that Case tractors also use Cummins engines. The lift pump for my 12 valve cost less than at Cummins.

also there are two units used. . a 3 wire and a 2 wire. . so be careful what you order/get

Gary is right on the money.

My 01 "not 01. 5" has a three wire unit. (looks identical to the map sensor)

My spare 02 HO motor has a 2 wire unit. (looks a little different then the map sensor)

Mine just went out and I need to get a bew, and NOT from the dealer.

Anyone out there that wants to trade a 2 wire for a 3 wire PM me.

Is this for the 96 in your sig? If so, they are quoting you the wrong price. A 96 looks like it would retail at $30.

Cummins for $41. 47. Picked one up yesterday.

Do you have a P/N??

Dodge p/n is 5012991AB then is superseceded (spl) by 5012991AC.

138. 60 my cost, thats still too much!!

The sender on 98. 5 - 2001 is the the same.

The sender on 2001. 5 - 2002 is the same.

I called Napa, Carquest, Checker, and Autozone and they do not even list a p/n for them.

Anyone know the p/n that Case uses on there motors. I am going to try ot get one from Cummins.

Anyone know there serial number on a drum rear brake equiped 2001?

I am tired of my check guages light dinging at me!!!!

Gotcha,

Looking at starparts it looks like the sensors are cheap, but I put your p/n into dealer connect, and I saw the dealer cost, .

Do you work at a dealer?

Nope. Just have a friend that works in the parts department.

Nope, I just get all the benefits.

My dad is a certified service tech that works at a 5 star dealer.

Good deal. I was going to ask you for your VIN to double check the part number, but I'm sure you've done that already. :D

I will see what the P/N is for the 94 - 98. 5's and the 2001. 5 - 2002's.

Just a sec and I will call.

94 - 98. 4 12v's = 53030493

98. 5 - 2001. 4 24v's = 5012991AB then is superseceded (spl) by 5012991AC

2001. 5 - 2006 24v's = 5083366AA

The map sensor and the oil sender are identical on my 2001. BUT, dodge shows different p/n for the two. They are the exact same cost though???? I think they are the same thing. I have a couple spare map sensors so I will through it in to see if it works...

I replaced my '98 12 valve sender with one from Carquest the first time for $53. 42. Now I just did it again a few years later and got one from the dealer for $27. 34, which was shop price not retail. I was shocked to find the dealer so much cheaper then Carquest. Both senders looked identical with all the same numbers even.
