Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Need Opinion on Truck

Ok guys I came across a 97 2500 SLT 4x4 with 174,000 extended cab long bed with these mods. Built BD automatic transmission with BD torque converter, JRE 4'' exhaust and downpipe, #3 fuel plate, big delivery valves, cold air intake, EGT boost and transmission gauges, DD2 injectors, 60# intake and exaust springs, 16'' Weld Stonecrusher wheels, 35'' MT/R tires, front cross drilled and slotted rotors, Skyjacker 4. 5'' class 2 lift, KDP tabbed, Hadley air horns, and a bunch of stereo stuff. All mods performed by Janetty racing and Hainesport diesel. Price is 18,000. My question is it worth the price and about how much hp you think it may put out.

I would say it is a fair deal. All that stuff would be atleast 7k dollars... . Offer him like 16k cash and then go for it

Sounds like a fun truck if it is set up the way you want. If not does he still have all of the original parts? Check for rust on the lower door and tailgate seams.



Did you see a dyno sheet from JRE?

No I didn't see a dyno sheet I will be going to check out and drive it this weekend. I have seen it and it is a clean truck. Does anybody have a guess on how much horesepower it may have. Thinking about getting this one and selling my stock 96 to my dad.
