Ok first off this is gonna be for the truck in the sig. I am looking for future as i wanna do it only once. I know with either one i'm gonna need supporting mods (transmission) depending on what level i run the adrenaline on or` the Tq managmenet i use with the Smarty. I know the smarty adds about 65hp from what i've been told and the adrenaline is an animal. I definantly want more than 65hp which turns me towards the adrenaline. But for now i want moderate Hp until i can do transmission which will be done by end of November. I know some are gonna say just do both and stack them but i want to start with just one and just run it down on lower levels til transmission done.

So what you guys think? I like aspects of both. Smarty revo with the different timing and ability to check and erase codes, tire size, etc. I also like adrenaline for its internet upgrade ability as well as the many different levels to choose from.

They are different beasts for sure. The Adrenaline taps the pump wire & the Smarty doesn't. The pump wire thing is what allows the Adrenaline to produce so much power. Without that it would give about the same 65 hp. I'm an unabashed Smarty lover & have never run an Adrenaline. both have had their development problems. My choice was smarty & bigger injectors. Others like the longer duration of the taped pump wire. That way they can readjust on the fly. I do my readjusting with my right foot.

I like the Adrenaline but I really have nothing to compare as I have not had a Smarty. In total I like all the features besides just the added power and my total towing is 21,000# +.

It's all about personal preference, both are good units and with the recent upgrade of the software for the smarty, many are glad to see that its not something being thrown out the window, its still being updated.

many with the '02 have found that a BD RAD will be needed to eliminate TQ management. I have/had BOTH boxes and it is apples/oranges comparison. I currently run only Quad Adrenaline but have run smarty and liked the features but not the jumpy pedal and need to re-program. Quad is Awsome for me so far (I run ADR2K programming) but others have had some issues. search adrenaline thread for more info. Also will need a turbo! and get to that trans ASAP!;)

From how you describe your goals, I would get the Adraline first. You can always stack them later. So that is pretty much a non-issue as you continue bombing your truck.
