2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Need opinions on what my truck is worth...

I am possibly going to sell for a 2002 F**D Excursion 7. 3. My truck is as described below... it has 45k miles. Never towed anything heavy.

My . 02 fwiw. I'd say if you can get $20k or better you should take it. This is based on what they are selling for on e-bay, quotes on my trade in at dealers and seeing what private sellers are listing them for in the paper. With all the rebates and low financing, plus the new body style, the 2d gen trucks haven't held their value well.

That's a tough question Dixie Dawg. I think it depends on your location more than anything. Blue book value would be good if you're trading it in. Around here, I wouldn't take anything less than $25 grand for my '02. I don't think your truck at one year older and 20,000 more miles equates to $5,000. Hell, the engine is just broke in.
