Can someone get a photo (or, better yet, expanded diagram) of the assembly / bracket back at the transmission for the kickdown/throttle valve connection. . ?? Trying to determine if I should just make a bracket, or try to get a stock one from the boneyard or dealer...

Oh!! If anyone has an idea what the dimension is from the kickdown lever to the "eye" cast into the transmission case (or the rear most transmission cooler connection), I would appreciate it. .

Thanks!!!

Bracket

The bracket is cheap enough to buy from a dealer. I do not feel it is worth all the effort to try and duplicate the correct factory part. Once you have the correct bracket and bolts then we can talk about any measurements you may need. This is the way I would do it if the truck was mine.

Yeah, dealer's diagram doesn't show squat. . !! It has the shift lever, shift linkage/bellcrank/etc, and some valve body internals - but that's it. . Doesn't even include the kickdown lever. . !! I'm gonna swing by there in a few to explore some more... You got a Dodge part ## handy. . ??? ;)

Welp - no go at the dealer. Their service dept. 's computer was even worse. . What's this world coming to?!?! I guess I'm expecting way too much of them. .

If anyone out there can get a quick shot of the driver's side of their (47RH) transmission, hopefully I'll be able to cobble something together using some scraps around the shop... . Otherwise - it's off to the boneyard. . !

SCORE!!

Went to the junkyard & nabbed the necessary bracket / spring. . I welded it to the shift cable bracket I fab'd up. . Will post pics & a crosslink for the Cummins Repower / Conversions crowd. .

Edit:

Pics of the before (no kickdown bracket), welded in kickdown bracket, and kickdown installed (and adjusted!!)...
