2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Need shop in CA,

Hi all. I am finly going to start upgrading my truck. What I need are some shop's that I can check out near the Galt area in CA. Something within 40 mils. if posable.

I don't there any shops in our area that specialize in upgrading your truck. The one shops that I know of will be more inclined to downgrade your wallet. Feel free to email me, we can discuss some much cheaper options.

Try Collins Diesel Injection Service in Stockton. Not sure if they do upgrades but they do good work.

Try giving Ken Imler at Imler Diesel Performance. Ken is a good man and a straight shooter. He hosts 2 Dyno events a year, and they are a lot of fun. At the last 2 that I went to there was a raffel drawing, barbque, vehicle detail team and a lot of good people.

Winspeed in Martinez, Ca is a shop that does a lot of performance upgrades on all diesels. Its more like 75 miles from galt though. The owner is on tdr. I think his name is Winspeed, try a member search. if you cant find it PM me and I'll find it. His shop number is 925-370-7245. Ask for adam, he does turbo, injectors, exhaust, boxs, and gauges among many other things.



He's in and out of the shop all day but someone is usally there 9-5

Collins Diesel Injection in Stockton has done great work for me... ask for Louis or Adam. They take the time to explain what, how, why, etc it works and what you REALLY need instead of what you DON'T need.



They stand behind there work, are very easy to deal with and very responsive to making things right if you should have a problem. A first class shop IMO.



Best of luck... Hold on to that wallet tight because what everyone else says is true... Once you start Bombing, it's addicting.

Boy am I glad I found this thread. Sitting in the "J" at Lodi, CA. AFE is plumb plugged up due to ATS header bolts backing out and leaking exhaust in engine compartment. Gotta trailer on so don't wanna drive round town much. Collins Diesel Injection is just 14. 93 miles away in the direction I'm heading. Thanks guys, the TDR has come through again. I can personally atest the Cummins runs hot, doesn't make much power when it's starved for air. Like to sucked the whole danged housing into the engine.

Try Ken Imler's Diesel in Sacramento, on Harvard St. , near Ardey Way and 160. Great work; I drive from San Jose just to have him do all my work. Knows what he is doing.
