need smarty vin lock help ASAP

how do i get this to be undone. i sold truck & sold smarty but it's not working with their truck. what can be done to make it work on their truck?

What does the Smarty show when connected to that truck? Is it truly "vin locked" or does it simply read "unknown software"? Sometimes you have to update the Smarty to the latest software in order to install in a different truck. Has to do with what Dodge flash is in the ecm and whether the Smarty has that flash or newer in it.

Did you put the truck back to stock before you sold it? That is the only way the smarty will be able to work on another truck.

It sounds like the truck and smarty went to different homes from your post.

If that is the case Bob Wagner (for a charge) can remedy your problem

no i didn't. yes your right, truck/smarty went to 2 diff owners. i guess i'll have to bite the bullet to get it fixed.
