I have a Dish Network Dish 500 system with two receivers used mostly in the trailer. The dish has two heads with two connections on each. I assume one head picks up satellite 110 and the other 119. Cables from the heads run to two SW-21 switches then one cable from each SW-21 goes to each receiver. To keep from having to move the dish around so much when I come home, I picked up another dish to mount at home, it has two heads with 119 stamped on one side and 110 on the other but the heads only have one connection on the back. I have tried hooking the two wires to a SW-21 but I only get one satellite. I also came into posession of a Model DP34 multi dish switch but can't get anything through it eithe. It has 3 dish connections, 4 receiver connections and three "to additional switches" connections. Any help appreciated. bg

I have all the same components that you have. It appears to me that you have an alignment problem if you are only seeing one satellite. I use a Sat Finder meter for fine tuning the alignment.

For Dish 500, all you should need would be the SW21 and the single outputs from the two LNBs. The DP34 may work. I haven't tried one with Dish 500. I've only used the DP34 with SuperDish selected for the house receivers.

Thanks for the reply JJ. I have a meter and can get good signal from both satellites(119 and 110) but didn't know if the DP34 was supposed to work and I didn't understand the dish with two heads but only one connection on each. bg
