Guys,

I need some help with a mounting plate for the back of a cummins block. There are 6 or 8 bolts that hold on the plate that the bell housing bolts too. i need dimensions from it for the bolts in th block. From crank center to the right at 3 o'clock, measure up to bolt centers. and then from straight up at 12 o'clock. measure to the right to bolt centers. I need to make a plate to mount to a cummins for the farm, and have to draw it on CAD. A drawing with dimensions would be awsome.

Thanks in advance guys

Sorry, I cant help you.

but out of curiousity, are you actually making a plate to mount a CTD to, or is this just for a "fake" school project?

im gonna repower my farmall H some day shortly and i fingered i need to make something, might as well make it useful.

What's behind it? Cummins offers a lot of adapter plates that will bolt to the back and offer a bolt pattern for a bunch of different transmissions.

its a project I HAVE TO MAKE IT! a farmall transmission thats whats behind it. I dont have a motor yet but its on my list of things to do.

Whats your point sleddy, dont think i could make it work? i've been around pulling long enuff to make it work. i built my own tractor a few years back, runs great and doesnt pull its self in half. so sleddy i think i got this one under control, oh and thanks for the concern. but i still need those specs guys?

I have no doubt you can make it work. Thats why I posted the pic!!

The one in the picture didn't pull itself in half-the Farmall clutch and trans exploded.

What HP did the H have from the factory?

27 hp. and my pulling tractor only had 130hp stock and is now over 500hp . you just have to take the measures to make it safe. i know if i driving it i dont want the clutch adn flywheel to blow up and take my legs off.

Okay Andy

Here's a pic, I don't have demensions handy.

Maybe you could pay for school by building super duty "explos. proof" housings and bell-housings. . :)

Good luck

Andy

Thanks a bunch Andy thats what i need, now i just need measurements. even a scaled drawing with no measurements would work i think.
