Got a 06 Dodge 2500, it has a 62mm towing like turbo, intercooler, exhaust manifold, intake manifold, intake, straight pipe and a Smarty Revo set on 9 with mild rail pressure setting and torque on 3. The truck is a dog out of the hole and will only boost 20 with full throttle down to the floor. We had a tst powermax CR stacked with the smarty before and it ran 35 or so lbs of boost and that was with the old smarty programming. It feels like it needs more fuel as it doesn't smoke much with the smarty in 9. Any feedback would be great?? Should i put the tst back on or get a MP8 for it or what. Thanks

*Also it has a fully built trans, we use this truck to run baja with and it has a manuel valve body with a switch for 4th gear and OD. It has lots a transmission codes where nothing is on it anymore. Could the truck be in limp mode with what we have done to the truck? It acts like the smarty isn't going into the truck as when we hook up our scan tool we can't look at all the sensors and such on the board to view pressures.

*If the truck was in limp mode would the tst bypass all of that and give it the power?

What codes are you seeing.

I had a lot larger turbo for a while and would get a P0299 Code. That one I know for sure puts you into limp mode.

You should be able to build a lot more boost with that setup.

Can you check and clear codes with the Smarty? If so, when you clear them, does it run good until the codes set again? I have the MP-8 and TST stacked with the Smarty, and i do see the boost jump ALOT quicker than with the Smarty alone...

We have lots of codes as we have removed lots of parts on our setup. The codes i have are:

ACTIVE: Checked with Scan tool
P0243 - Turbo Wastegate Control
P0463 - Fuel Level
P0480 - Cooling Fan 1 Control Circuit Open
P0483 - Cooling Fan Speed
P0541 - Intake Air Heater
P0713 - Trans Temp Sensor High
P0868 - Line Pressure Low
P1749 - Trans Throttle Valve Position Sensor Circuit Low

Stored Codes from Scan Tool
P0606 - Internal Engine Control Module Processor
P0973 - Overdrive Control Circuit Low
P2769 - Society Of Auto Engineers - Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Low

Codes From Smarty
P0606 - ECM Hardware Error
P0480 - Cooling Fan
P0243 - Wastegate
P0463 - Fuel Level
P0483 - Fan Speed
P0541 - Low Voltage on Intake Heater
P1749 - Trans Throttle Valve
P0973 - Trans Overdrive
P2769 - UNKNOWN
P0713 - Trans Temp
P0868 - Governor Pressure

Remember we have a fuel cell with new sending unit and gauge and the only wires we have going to the transmission is a power and ground as we have a manual valvebody and don't use some of the other parts as in the kick down and such. We also have the flexalite replacement cooling fans.

Wow, that's a lot of codes.

I wonder if there is something Marco can do to help you out?

Also one thing that we also have a problem with is ready data from the motor. Now if we can't read data but can read engine codes will the smarty go into the truck? The smarty goes thru all the steps but doesn't have the power.
