How do you use.

My web hosting company (powweb.com) moved their servers last weekend, and therefore have changed the IP addresses for their customers. Since then, wierd things have been happening. The most recient problem is that we can only access our web based email intermittantly. Some of the time it works, but most of the time our regular home page comes up.

Here's the deal, I would appreciate if any of you would try to connect to our email web site and let me know by voting in the poll on this message if you connect to our email web site our regular home page. You can tell if you have connected to the regular home page because there will be a banner at the top that says "Lenger Awhile".

Here's the address for the email web site: http://mail.klenger.net

Here's the address for our regular home page: http://www.klenger.net

If any of you smart guys out there know what I need to do to fix this, please let me know. Part of the problem in getting this fixed is that my web site is hosted by powweb.com and the email is hosted by everyone.net. Two different companies.

Thanks, Ken

Well, I may have figured out the problem. It appears that the email provider (everyone.net) changed their product offering without telling their end customers. They no longer offer fully branded email web sites unless you upgrade to one of their more premimum services. They just shut down access to my email site at mail. klenger.net. They did, however, have an option to access the email website at another address, which I have done, and it seems to work. Oh, did I mention, they also charge $10 / month or more for actual support. For the package that I have, there is no support, and no communication of product changes.

I will not be continuing my service with them when my subscription expires. The internet is a very powerfull tool for getting out the word about good and bad business. I will not do business with everyone.net again.
