Need some help

The other day i was using my truck to pull an old tractor. I had the chain around the hitch when all of a sudden the chain broke. The chain ended up denting my tailgate pretty good. I've got a dotted line from the bottom to the top of the tailgate and the paint is starting to chip. I was wondering if anyone knows where i can get a 3rd gen tailgate for a good price. Called my local dealer and they quoted $617. 00 w/out paint.

Either on one of the RV nets or perhaps visiting an RV park, I am sure you could find someone who has replaced their tailgate with the fifth wheel type that is louvered . . and is kind of tired of storing it in their garage. Might find a good deal that way
