When I was down there last November... . Diesel Injection of Pittsburgh had a piston out of a class-8 engine sitting on their parts desk... ... it was coated. They didn't want to talk much about it.
I can't knock that company - they gave me a tour of the whole place. I even got to see a few K-Series Cummins that were getting prepped for a HP rebuild.
They're doing something right down there in Cheswick, PA... . they seem to be the only folks pushing the envelope with the class-8 engines.
