I've already looked in the links section of this website, but haven't found quite what I'm looking for. What I want is a set of front and rear mud flaps for a 3500 4x4 that have a chromed Cummins "C" in the middle and a chromed weight at the bottom of the mud flap. I would rather have a smooth chromed finish, and NOT the diamond plate. Can anyone point me to a web site with pictures, or post pictures of what they have?

Thanks,

The muflaps by NW Custom are by far the best thing out there

Give Jason a call and tell him what kind of metal/finish you're looking for. He does it all.

Thanks for the replies. It doesn't really look like there is a lot of choice on QUALITY mud flaps for these trucks. I had already e-mailed Jason Burton last night, and got a response from him this morning. I will likely get a set of mud flaps from Northwest Customs, although they sure are pricey, at $404  for a set of four.

I'm just tired of cheesy junk is all. I had the local Auto Trim Design put on a set for me yesterday, and as soon as I saw the truck I knew it was a mistake. They had only shown me a picture in a catalog beforehand, but when I saw them in person they looked like Auto Trim Design had ran over to Kmart and bought them. Talk about cheap crap, they were about 1/16" thick PLASTIC, and not even a real rubber mud flap. I told him to take them back off. They're pissed at me, but it's my truck, and I don't want it looking like it was accessorized at Kmart.

If it takes a $400 set of mud flaps to get real quality then I suppose that's what I'll have to pay. Assuming no one else post over the weekend with an equal quality mud flap for less.

I like the truck, and I'm getting more adjusted to it each time I drive it. For one thing, I have found that I don't listen to the radio anymore. I prefer to just leave the radio off so I can listen to the diesel motor instead. I also just read a post on this forum about someone that installed the Torqus Maximus ECM from Mopar and noticed that it didn't have that 2000 RPM power spike they were used to. Maybe my truck is "normal" then, because it doesn't have that power spike either. I have had the opportunity to drive a friends '98. 5 24v Cummins 2500, and his always hits hard when the turbo spools up. Mine doesn't have that hit, so I was disappointed, especially when combined with what I thought was lack luster towing performance. Maybe not having that power spike is "normal" for my trucks ECM though. The truck is hitched to my 11K lb. Weekend Warrior trailer as I type this. Tomorrow morning we leave for the three day weekend, and I'll get to see if it tows any better with 500 miles on it than it did with 14 miles on it. I have an appointment with the dealer on Tuesday to have a diagnostics check performed. If everything checks out ok then I'll be happy with it. I plan on no performance mods until the engine has at least 5000 miles on it. It may not be fully broken in by then, but the power gain from then on will likely be minimal, and I can then decide if I want more power to me ;) or not.
