Need some opinions ASAP

I have a 2003 3500 48RE with an air intake, straight exhaust, and a quad race box. I haven't pulled much with it since I've had my xzillaraider but tonight I have to pull a 36' flatbed gooseneck about 2 hours away to get a tractor. I need some opinions on if I could pull with it on the 100 HP setting because the 60 just isn't enough, but I don't want to run the hell out of my truck, any opinions would help. Thanks

I have the exact same truck with almost identical mods. As long as you watch your EGTs you'll be fine. I just drove mine up to the mountains this last weekend empty. My temps were lower with the quad box than they were last time I took the trip with my Edge on it.



I keep my box on 60hp unless I'm racing another diesel. You might have to turn down the box on the hills. Don't run too hot.

Any type of commercial pulling at 85+HP will be slow death of the TC and will contaminate the drive section ... A few hunderd miles, I think you will be fine.
