I'm looking for the "Rear track outside" dimension for the 3500 Chassis Cab for '97, 8,or 9. Hopefully it will be narrower than the 92. 2" quoted in my '01 brochure.

I have an older utility body that is a bit narrow for the '01-'02's, as Dodge increased the wheel offset making for a wider track in those years.

And if anyone has a First Gen brocure, I'm interested in that spec as well--they look a whole lot narrower than 2nd gens.

Thanks in advance!

Jared- thanks for looking it up.

I read that the offset was increased in '00; but given what Thomas's '99 brochure says compared to your 97 & 98, maybe it was increased in 99. And that brings up another question: Maybe a 99-02 truck would work by using 98 or earlier wheels. I dunno.

The old truck it will be coming off of is 84", so 86. 6 may be close enough to work.

Thanks.
