Need Steering Column Help ATTEMPTED THEFT

Hey guys, need a little help. Some jackholes tried to steel my 06 3500 DRW 4x2 6spd on 11/29. I'm not sure whether dealer is blowing smoke or telling the truth about having difficulty finding parts for the steering column or the entire upper column itself. Upper and lower columns shrouds seem to be available as is the SKIM Module. The problem seems to be finding the key release button assembly, the entire upper column if needed, and possibly the ignition key cylinder. A few sites I've looked at don't give me any good diagrams of the column. Dealer is saying that the 06 column is a 1 year only part and is trying to scare me by saying they just totaled an 87k mile 06 1500 MegaCab because they could not locate a column. My truck is in like-new condition just shy of 58k and I'm the original owner.

I need parts sources and part numbers.

Go to Dallas on Craigslist and type in auto parts and then type in Dodge ram, there is a guy in palmer Tx. that has a slew of dodge parts and year models, Good luck, Monte

Ignition Key Cylinder should be available from Dorman (Rockauto) at least I got mine a month ago from there.
