Just installed the PDR kit I got from advanced diesel. Very stout with the clamps. rather difficult to install because of the stiffness.

Cool thanks Ill give RIP a Call and see what he can do.

They dont have to be professional $250 Boost Boots ... just something better than what is on it.

Been hitting the archives and found that almost always the PDR kit needs trimed

and

the DP kit has insufficent Clamps ... there more $$$ anyway . .

HairSpray seems to be the way to go durring install.

I guess Meheen (MAKERS OF TAG) have a kit avalible ??? cant find to much info with out calling I guess . .

I think 99% of the problem was the fact that there is Oil & Crud all over the boost lines and when things continued to get heated up it was running down the line under where it is clamped and it just slipped out .

If We cant find a new set for a bit cheaper Including clamps then we may just tare it all apart and clean it up real good and try our best to get the boots to fit ... . we have pipe clamps on the top line thats the one I thought blowed off but it was the bottom drivers side . the bottom pass. side boot acts like it need to be about 4 inches longer ...

What happened ... did these boots just shrink after time or what??

Would still like to have a new set but I didnt realize theyt were so $$$ ... I should of figgered it is a CTD upgrade after all

Maybe Rip can help :>

PDR boots will handle more than the intercooler, I'm sure. Little difficult to install, but makes a neat job.

If you will shoot some Alcohol on the inside prior to installing them they will slip right on and soften the pain just a tad to make it sticky... ... holds to 85 psi like this just fine!

Details of the boost line ..... after further education the factory boost lines have the ripple / bubble thingy inbetween the connectons to alow the flex line to flex with out pulling the ends of the line off !! We are useing the Boost clamps (SPRING TYPE)

Is anyone running with intercooler lines with out the ripple ??
