Me Too. It would not be fun to drop the transfer case and transmission twice

How much was your Mojave Green TC and what are the specs?

I'm hearing about triple and single discs.

If your running a stock engine with RV injectors, 3k GSK, #6 plate 180 pump... (375hp, 700tq) what converter is recommended for that?

Also, the transmission would need a full rebuild with quality parts, upgraded clutches/bands and a upgraded valve body im sure...

Nobody said this was being done right ...

IMO a Nice Heavy Rebuild With Suncoasts Bombed Rebuild Kit and A Nice ProLock Converter would be the way to go ... ...

Sadly were about $$$$ so we make do...

This truck has DV's , 3kgsk , 21Cm on a Hx35 , and a few other things also ...

We will adjust the bands sweep out the transmission pan , throw a TransGo Shift Kit in the VB , Put the TC in and fill er' up ... . and run it till it gernades the Input shaft ect... ect... If it will even move when were done ... LOL

Nah- nothing like that DM. Just givin ya a little crap and taking up for the little guyz in Iowa. Good luck w/ the budget bomber. Coming to Gifford this weekend?

A friend in the area purchased a bullit TQ from them for his 66? Mustang. He wanted a 1800rpm stall. He got a great deal on it, installed it and the car moved at 1000 rpm. They built it for the wrong stall.

Just a little info.

A stall speed is not rated by what rpm the vehicle moves!!

My truck moves, and quite briskly- at 800 RPM. It will stall at twice that.

Stall speed is the RPM where a converter will hold a motor without turning the output shaft. ( actually there is a little more to it than that, but this is a simple explanation).

Well i have had my Mojave Green TC for a little wile with the Transgo and I did a full rebuild but with the rest of the internals being stock. I did the clutches bands all the seals and replaced any worn parts which I found plenty of. I broke the direct drum which is connected to the input shaft, found broken teeth on a planet and another that was worn, buggered up sun shell, broken acumulator(sp) spring which the shift kit happened to replace, and a few other warn parts that were replaced. The best part is that this transmission had been rebuilt and been on the truck for a couple thousand mile and this stuff was overlooked (except the direct drum). Filled er up with Amsoil and the thing works great, but I have not really put the TC to the test and I got a Mag Hytec DD trans pan for x mas.

Sure your correct, however, in the first one he got, the factory stall was built and not the stall be wanted, around 1800rpm from what I recall. The main point was they wanted to charge him extra for their mistake and wasting his time.
