need the right shade of red

I just acquired an old Blackhawk floor model transmission jack. It needs some work like fixing the saddle tilt jack screw and re-ringing the ram itself. I want to paint it up, but I want to get the right color. Snap-on red is nice, but going to the truck is a little hard (to find one, and opening the wallet). Has anyone found a color that's a good compromise that can be had at the home center? I have tried regular Rustoleum red on some jack stands, but I guess it's too red.
