I got an Isspro mech. FP gauge along with the isolator by EEP. Do I need to bleed either the line from pump to isolator of diesel and or the tubing from isolator to gague? If so, what is the best way? I can see that there is air in the nylon tubing that runs from the isolator to the gauge. Don't know how I would get it out.

Thanks.

Craig,

No, you don't need to bleed it, at least not from the fuel line to ith isolator. The air will transmit the pressure to the gauge just fine. I suspect that if Isspro's instructions don't mention bleeding the lines, you don't need to bleed either of them.

Eventually, the air will probably all disolve in the fuel and the line will self-bleed over time.

I have an isspro gauge and an I dont remeber what isolater but i bled the line on the fuel side by cracking the big screw on the isolater. Mabe that will help

Bleeding not necessary. Hook it up and go. Just make sure to use the proper fitting in the Isspro kit with the line going into the back of the gauge. I used the wrong one at first and was greeted by a stream of fuel down the A-pillar and inside the dash, down onto the carpet before I realized what the hell I did wrong. Stupid mistake on my part... . Right fitting -- no problems.
